1. Is it possible to control more than one Agilent GC/MS with one MSD ChemStation? (id=11)

Yes. The G1701CA MSD Productivity ChemStation is capable of simultaneous control of? up to two (2) Agilent 5973N Network GC/MSDs or up to four (4) LAN GCs or any combination there of. 2. Can I acquire and process other chromatographic data with the MSD ChemStation? (id=47)

Yes. The MSD ChemStation software (G1701B rev. B.00.01) or later supports up to 4 detectors. This can be any combination of GC detectors (Agilent GCs: 5890 series II/III and 6890s) and up to 2 MSD max. There are some product limitations. The Agilent 35900D/C/E analog to digital converters where also supported for a period time.

35900D External A/D: G1701AA rev. A.02.00 > A.03.00

35900C/E Internal A/D: G1701AA rev. A.02.00 > G1701BA rev. B.02.00

All A/D support was dropped with G1701CA rev. C.00.00.
