Difference between NIST and Wiley

In the mass spectral libraries section, ChemUserWorld says that the Wiley has a few more compounds than the NIST. Define a few? The Wiley Registry 8th edition has over 30% more compounds than the NIST. The Wiley Registry 9th Edition has 590,000 compounds.

In addition, when combined with the NIST, the Wiley 9/NIST08 contains over 790k spectra and more than 400k compounds. It also contains searchable structures in both the MS Search and the Chemstation.L format.

The Wiley Registry 8th/NIST08 can be purchased from Agilent or from Wiley.

As an update, the 9th edition now contains 590,000 compounds.
